Lauren & Marcus | Blake Hall wedding
Buckle up folks, because I have got an absolute belter of a black tie wedding here for you! Tying the knot at beautiful Blake Hall in Ongar was Lauren and Marcus, back at the end of September last year. Although summer was technically over, they enjoyed a warm and even sometimes sunny (!) early autumn day at Blake Hall which is a glorious barn wedding venue, in my old stomping ground of Ongar, Essex.
Lauren and Marcus met at work and as they’re both hair stylists, I was expecting there to be not a hair out of place, and I’m pleased to report that was indeed the case. (Unintentional rhyming there, sorry.)
On the morning of their big day,they both got ready on site; Marcus and the boys suited and booted in one barn and Lauren and her girls in Blake Hall’s lovely cottage just out of sight from guests. You’ll have to excuse my excited squeal of “It has pockets!” when I saw Lauren in her dress.
I’m not going to babble on for ages about their day, I’m going to let the pictures do the talking on this occasion, and I think you’ll agree it is an absolute beaut of a black tie wedding.
