Abi + Luke | A spring Blake Hall wedding
I’m a recommended supplier at beautiful Essex wedding venue Blake Hall, so it’s my pleasure to bring you an exemplary example of a quintessential spring wedding: it’s Abi and Luke’s big day!
Blake Hall is home to all types of different weddings, and the main elements that couples always remark upon is their wonderful ceremony space, and their beautifully kept gardens. Blake Hall in the springtime nearly stole the show here, as we hadn’t even hit mid-April and the sun shone all day long.
Bride Abi and her gang got ready in Blake Hall’s lovely on-site cottage, as groom Luke and the chaps applied some finishing touches a few yards away in their own on-site space. When I say finishing touches, attempting to tie ties and generally look nervous.
A+L had a fun secret for their guests later in the day; they’d booked The London Function Band to perform during and after dinner, providing some super fun and memorable moments as they serenaded guests into the reception barn for dinner. Abi and Luke clambered onto the piano (don’t worry they were invited) and it made for a high-energy intro for the evening.
The April sun continued to bless us so we headed out after din dins to grab some of my customary golden hour photos, and I think you’ll agree it was 100% worth it! Golden hour was really golden houring.
