Ellen & Jamie | Henham Barns wedding
You’d be forgiven for thinking Ellen and Jamie’s wedding at Suffolk wedding venue Henham Barns, on the doorstep of Latitude Festival, was actually located in southern France. Their choice of wedding day location, near Southwold in mid-spring, definitely had more than an air of rural barn goodness: think Bordeaux rather than Bungay.
The weather Gods were smiling on us and it was a beautiful sunny day from start to finish, allowing us to zip out around the Henham estate to grab some golden hour photos at the end of the day. We were also joined by E+J’s dog Luna for some photos during the day, and she almost stole the show! 🐾
Ellen and Jamie’s styling for their wedding day was wonderful and so unique to them, it was great to see something different at weddings in 2025! Up the road from Southwold, they chose a beachy, coastal-inspired theme, weaving pale and dusky blues and just the right amount of flourishes to really hit the mark. Personalised name cards were popular among the guests and it was fun to see their reactions to seeing their faces on their hand-drawn place names.
Just before the sun disappeared on the horizon, we whizzed around the Henham estate on a golf buggy, just catching the sun before it disappeared on the horizon, and Ellen’s bespoke sleeves were whipped off Bucks Fizz style (you may be too young for that reference) and that signalled the party was underway.
A mega couple, with a mega crowd who really knew how to have fun. The perfect recipe for a top notch day and some belting wedding photos.
