Yas & Paul | Woodhall Manor
Yas and Paul’s wedding at Woodhall Manor in Suffolk was slap bang in the middle of an epic three days of weddings, on the late August bank holiday last year, and it was a hot one! Though they’re now London dwellers, they’d planned their wedding in the Suffolk countryside because it was closer to where they’d both grown up, and they certainly made use of Woodhall Manor’s outdoor space for their big day.
I’d already shot one wedding at Woodhall Manor a few weeks prior to Yas and Paul’s big day, similarly planned to be held outside, and on that occasion the weather wasn’t on our side, so I had everything crossed for a warm, dry day. I needn’t have worried, because the weekend was a flipping scorcher!!
It was such a warm, happy, chilled, relaxed day, which was perfect for this Suffolk countryside wedding. I knew it would be, because all of my interactions with these guys up to their big day had been so full of fun and enthusiasm! As the sun was dipping beneath the tall trees and the main house, Yas and Paul were game enough to nip outside between main and dessert courses, in order to catch the last rays of golden hour. I’m so glad they did, as it always makes for fab photos!
What a couple of megastars these two are. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were so much fun to be around all day, along with their family and friends. Shall we do it all again?
