Pippa & Matt | Cressing Temple Barn
During their speeches, bride Pippa remarked that only several weeks ago, she had been in floods of tears, unsure if her wedding with Matt would be able to go ahead. 2020, you have been an absolute monster! But fast forward to a few weeks later, and it was with immense joy that Pippa and Matt were able to tie the knot at historic Cressing Temple Barns, near Braintree.
It may not have been the wedding they’d initially planned for, but nothing can take away the sheer joy and happiness of marrying your best friend, with your dearest family and friends in attendance. Some people weren’t able to attend, sadly quarantined in different countries overseas, but those who couldn’t be there in person, were there via the wonders of Facetime!
Pippa and Matt exchanged vows before a handful of photos and then on to a small picnic outside, joined by their spanish rescue dog Tango, Matt’s parents’ dog Woody, and the aforementioned guests. With only a small passing shower upsetting the day’s sunshine, the new Mr and Mrs eventually retired to a local hotel/restaurant with some of their guests, to round off the day. I was delighted to have been able to capture their intimate ceremony and celebration, and I’m sure they will one day finally make it to Brazil for their dream holiday – third time lucky!
