Stacey + Joe | Copdock Hall wedding
My final wedding of 2017 was at Copdock Hall, a beautiful Tudor barn venue just into the Suffolk border. Stacey and Joe had booked me for their wedding after we met at another wedding in 2016, where I photographed their friends getting married at the Old Parish Rooms. Stacey and Joe had mentioned back in 2016 they were interested in an older venue with character, and they couldn’t have made a better choice – Copdock Hall is gorgeous!
Stacey and her sisters got ready at home whilst Joe and the boys were elsewhere. We headed over to Copdock Hall so Stacey could do the final touches and get into her dress at the venue before the guests arrived and the ceremony commenced. These guys might have had the largest bridal party of all my weddings in 2017, no less than 8 bridesmaids and a flower girl (who was super cute, by the way), and 5 gents plus Joe in his groomsmen squad. Boom!
I was particularly charmed by their grey and blush pink colour scheme, not just because it’s the exact same colours as my branding (!) but also because it really complemented their venue and the Autumnal setting. Autumn showed itself in all forms during the day, as we experienced sunshine and showers, but we managed to sneak just a few minutes outside as the weather subsided to get a few cheeky photographs following the ceremony. And as everyone celebrated into the night, the new Mr & Mrs joined me to sneak outside for a handful of snaps under Copdock Hall’s festoon lights, which I’m always a fan of, and looked great.
I couldn’t have imagined a more lovely wedding to round off my 2017, and as I think you’ll agree when you scroll below, Stacey and Joe’s day looked absolutely beautiful! Enjoy.
