Juliet + Alex | Pennard House wedding

There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe J+A’s quintessential English country wedding at Somerset venue Pennard House, but I’ll give it a go!

If you’re in the market for sophisticated, classic English wedding inspiration then you’re in the right place, and spoiler alert: it’s a complete belter.

Juliet and Alex’s spring wedding at beautiful Somerset wedding venue Pennard House was one of my highlights from 2024; I’d first met them at Juliet’s sister Olivia’s wedding at Kirtlington Park (see that wedding HERE) and I was chuffed to photograph their big day in Somerset. The ceremony at the local church was within walking distance and as soon as the confetti was done everyone piled back to Pennard House.

I’ve got so many fond memories of this day, from the gorgeous prep space upstairs at Pennard House, through to the general hilarity that Juliet, Alex and their respective friends and family brought to the occasion. If it wasn’t tears of happiness it was tears of piss your pants laughter all day! Those florals by Caroline Clements were just chefs kiss and can we take a moment for the mother of the bride’s hat?
