If you’d told me this English wedding was tucked away in the Surrey countryside and not somewhere along the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, I might not have believed you. The Old Rectory Estate in Surrey was the location for Amy and Liam, and their gorgeous summer wedding.
If you’re a fan of picturesque surroundings and beautiful styling at your wedding reception venue, then this post is going to be right up your street.
Bride Amy got ready up the road from the venue, and a relative stone’s throw from Gatwick airport, and groom Liam and the gents fiddled some ties and cufflinks at the venue before guests arrived, managing to find a bit of time for a couple of games of cheeky pool too.
Onto the venue: The Old Rectory Estate looked like an Italian villa in the English countryside, with beautifully manicured extensive gardens, making for a dreamy outdoor ceremony decorated in florals by florist Ottilie Fleur.
The kind of setting where you sip something sparkling, sink into your chair, and forget what country you’re in. Dreamy 😍
And let’s talk about those reception tables: Long, banquet-style setups and delish catering from Tandem, the perfect backdrop for the speeches, before shots were consumed at golden hour. Adam of Ads on Sax provided the entertainment, with the sax belting out on the dancefloor into the Surrey night 🎷🎶
