Pippa & Callum | A colourful outdoor wedding
Pippa and Callum booked me waaay back in 2023, describing their ideal wedding day as being '“quite informal, just a big party that will go on until early hours”. Well, I can’t attest to having stayed to photograph until the wee small hours, but I have no doubt they followed through on their plans! 🥂🍻
P+C planned their wedding around nearby locations that were familiar to them, injecting a whole bunch of colour, laughter and personal touches, starting with a lakeside ceremony and finishing with the party in a friend’s barn nearby.
Wendy their fox red Labrador Retriever was invited too (obvs) and I enjoyed spending the morning throwing a ball for her, probably when I should’ve been taking photos. I too own a Labrador so they will always take precedence, sorry.
I was super chuffed to see their beautiful, colourful ceremony setup next to a lake, with the added fun of Pippa and her bridesmaids arriving in open top Land Rovers. I always advocate for bold colours at weddings; injecting colour and character never sacrifices sophistication, and in fact thoughtfully chosen details and a rich palette brings warmth and depth to your photos - as you’ll see!
Making sure we captured groom Callum’s beloved Racing Edition Alfa Romeo and his classic Mk2 Ford Escort in the pics too, we rounded things off with a sunset scamper into the nearby fields for some golden hour pics. Lush.
