Emily & Aston | Folkington Manor
Back in the murky depths of 2020, Emily and Aston made the heartbreaking decision to postpone their wedding due to the ongoing confusion surrounding Covid-19 and uncertainty around weddings. But it worked out well for me because they booked me for their new date in summer of last year!
Emily and Aston chose Folkington Manor for their wedding day, down in East Sussex. There’s a church within a stone’s throw/golf buggy ride of the venue, and that’s where the ceremony was undertaken, on one of the hottest days known to man!
Emily and her bridal party got ready in a village a couple of miles away from Folkington Manor, and despite it being a sweaty affair, it was a great morning and everyone looked top notch. Aston and the gents met guests at the church before the ceremony kicked off, and it was lovely to see E+A finally tie the knot after so much Covid uncertainty during wedding planning.
We piled back to Folkington Manor where we spent nearly all day outdoors in the glorious haze of a July day, interpersed with garden games, cocktails, and sparklers. Truly the best of times. I loved capturing Emily and Aston’s day, they are such a genuinely lovely couple; open and honest and lots of fun. More weddings like this please!
What they said:
“I cannot recommend Sally enough, from first contact till now she has been brilliant. I would highly recommend having a pre-wedding shoot first, this made us feel more relaxed on our wedding day! I can't write enough words to explain how happy we are with our photographs. They are amazing, the day so perfectly captured! If you want perfect photos and a laugh along the way then look no further!! Thank you so much Sally!”
