Ella & Hamish | Chippenham Park wedding
A glorious country house wedding venue? Check. Hollywood waves? Check. An outdoor ceremony? Check. Lots of rain? Err…. also check. But we don’t care about the rain, because just LOOK at how gorgeous Ella and Hamish’s day was at beaut Cambridgeshire wedding venue Chippenham Park.
This was one of those weddings I’d been looking forward to for a while, not just because when I first met E+H, Hamish was sporting a rather fetching moustache for Movember, back in 2019. Ella and her girls got ready at the ever-popular Bedford Lodge Hotel and Spa (which I’d fully recommend for a spa day, on a separate note!) and then moved on to venue Chippenham Park for finishing touches and to get into her dress.
Back at E+H’s house, Hamish and the gents were busying themselves trying to work out how to iron their shirts.
The manor at Chippenham Park has some stunning grounds, and these guys were going to have an outdoor ceremony, come what may! So despite a dry morning, just before the ceremony, the heavens began to open. But that didn’t deter anyone, and under the cover of many umbrellas, Ella and Hamish tied the knot in front of friends and family.
I knew their day was going to be fun, gorgeous, and ultimately a wild party to celebrate, and I wasn’t wrong! All their friends and family were so welcoming and to be honest I never wanted this one to end. Can we do it all again please?
