Josie & Mark | Bruisyard Hall wedding
I love photographing weddings at Bruisyard Hall because it is such a gorgeous venue in rural Suffolk, and I know it’s always going to be a fab day!
Josie and Mark’s April wedding at Bruisyard Hall was no exception, and they’re such lovely people, it just made for a lovely day. If you’re a sucker for a Suffolk barn wedding, then strap yourself in!
Josie and Mark both got ready with their respective bridal parties in opposite ends of the manor house at Bruisyard - Josie upstairs with her girls in the light-filled bridal suite, and Mark downstairs with the chaps in the sitting room. They were holding their ceremony and reception at the Bruisyard Barn, a 17th century building that transforms from ceremony to party throughout the day!
The most optimistic person in the world probably wouldn’t have predicted that the weather wasn’t on our side on this particular day, as it tipped down with rain from start to finish. April showers definitely lived up to its name here. But, as always, with Josie and Mark being a stellar couple, they didn’t let the inclement weather affect their day, and they just ran with it, as all good couples should. And the photos reflect that sense of adventure!
The evening was rounded off with doughnuts and dancing, and I couldn’t have been more pleased to capture their day at Bruisyard Hall.
