Millie & James | Baddow Park House

It’s not often I will say I never want a wedding to end, particularly when I’m in a sweaty, crumpled, dehydrated heap on the floor afterwards, but Millie and James’ wedding at glorious Baddow Park House was one of them!

It wasn’t my first visit to Baddow Park House, a country house venue in Chelmsford that’s been refurbished to include a beautiful orangery for ceremonies and receptions, and M+J had styled it up a treat. Spending a little time on styling your wedding really transforms the whole experience, and there was definitely a fab classic floral theme coming through to accompany Baddow Park House’s 1920’s art deco feel (see the tablewear pics below - beaut).

Both Millie and James got ready at Baddow Park House before heading to their church ceremony in Sandon. Once they were suitably covered in confetti, the newlyweds headed back to BPH in a vintage wedding car, which they had discovered upon enquiring that it was the same wedding car Millie’s parents had used when they got married, decades earlier! What a crazy coincidence!

Baddow Park House has lots of opportunities for brilliant photos and when the sun shines like it did, it was obvious all the guests were really enjoying the setting and its extensive grounds. Millie’s brother even managed to unexpectedly roll down a hill before some photos, but sadly I didn’t manage to capture it, which was my only regret of the day.

The whole wedding vibe was on point; from the hot and sunny weather, the speeches, the crowd, and *that* dress. I could’ve uploaded 300 photos and it wouldn’t be enough to show you this Baddow Park House wedding!

So be sure to scroll below to see it, in all its glory, and to see why I never wanted it to end! Spectacular.
