Rachel + Will | The Compasses at Pattiswick wedding
Rachel and Will’s wedding at boutique countryside wedding venue The Compasses at Pattiswick couldn’t have fallen on a better weekend: An Easter weekend that was so hot and sunny, it was hard to believe we were only in April! Even harder now when I’m writing this in June and I have the heating on <crying face emoji>.
It was great to see a little variety in the gents’ bridal party, as Will opted for the separates look, donning a rather fetching burgundy velvet jacket with a floral tie – such a lovely change from the usual blue, blue and blue!
Their son George was with Will and the gents, whilst Rachel and the girls got ready in the The Compasses’ bridal suite. When I arrived in the morning, Rachel advised everyone would be taking part in ‘Marryoke’ throughout the day; Marryoke is where a couple and their guests sing along to a song throughout the course of the day, which is edited altogether to make their wedding video! You can view their final product here: Marryoke
The beautiful weather provided a gorgeous backdrop as the sun went down, and we took full advantage of the sunset for which The Compasses is so famous for. Late in the day, before they cut loose on the dancefloor, Rachel and Will humoured me as we took a little spin back down the country lane in order to capitalise on the sunset, and I’m so glad they did! You’ll see what I mean below. Enjoy!
