Whether you’re marrying at Old Marylebone town hall, Chelsea town hall, Hackney, Islington or somewhere else, there’s no denying that the London town hall wedding is the chicest way to say “I do” in 2026 and 2027.
Marrying at one of these town halls or registry offices has always been uber chic and tied to some of the most-recognisable British celebs of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Mick Jagger, George Harrison, Liam Gallagher, Davina McCall, most recently Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, and a host of others.
Whether it’s a discreet, private elopement with just the two of you and two witnesses, or getting the ‘legal bit done’ before a larger celebration abroad, I’m here for all of it.
Town hall weddings in London are blessed with the most beautiful, historical architecture, and some of the typical, recognisable elements that only our capital provides, like our red buses and black taxis. Throw in a “Congratulations!” from random passers-by and your London elopement is brought to life.
