Beverley + Tom | Engagement Shoot
When I first met Beverley and Tom back towards the start of the year, they told me their wedding wasn’t far away. In fact, it was only three months away. Fast forward to a warm weekday evening over at Paper Mill Lock in Little Baddow, where the three of us followed the trail of canal boats for their pre-wedding shoot – with their actual wedding just over a week away.
Upon booking me as their photographer, they told me they were glad they’d found me, but to be honest, I’m the one who is so glad I found them! Pre-wedding shoots can induce feelings of nervous anticipation and dread sometimes, nearly every couple tells me each time we talk about it, but these two weren’t fazed at all, and the shots we got by the Lock were just wonderful. We were also joined by a variety of dogs along the way at Paper Mill Lock, as it’s obviously a popular place for dog walkers, and each hound was as big a diva for the camera as the next.
I came home absolutely buzzing from this shoot and was determined to get their photos to them before their wedding day. In a few days’ time I’ll be capturing the big day over at the West Street Vineyard in Coggeshall, which will be a lovely relaxed affair, so do check back here to see some more beautiful shots of these two!
