Amy & Seb | Gaynes Park

What a little gem I have for you here! After much planning and re-planning, Amy and Seb’s rescheduled 2020>2021 wedding happily took place on a crazy sunny day at perennial favourite Essex wedding venue, Gaynes Park. They’d decided to forge ahead with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their love on a super warm and bright June day, which was just as well, as their ceremony was held outdoors.

I joined Amy and her girls in Gaynes Park’s Apple Loft cottage for some bridal prep, and it wasn’t long before Seb and the gents joined them at the venue, Seb being chauffeur-driven to Gaynes Park in a Dodge Challenger muscle car, which was a complete beast!

Their ceremony was held just under the licensed structure of Gaynes Park’s orangery, and their guests enjoyed going mask-free as they basked in the sunshine just outside.

It hasn’t been easy for any engaged couples to plan a wedding during a pandemic, but Amy and Seb enjoyed the most wonderful of days on an unusually hot and sunny day, surrounded by their closest family and friends, and it was fab to share in their joy by being asked to capture it. We snuck in a few couple portraits just before the sun went down, including the famous ‘heart’ shot through the gate, being sure to grab a couple of Kraken and Cokes along the way, from the rum bar that Seb requested. Tbh I’m still reeling from the fact mine got kicked over whilst I left it unattended 😩
