Abbie + Jon | Chelmsford Engagement shoot
During the summer I headed to Hylands Park, Chelmsford to meet Moana the pug, then photograph her and her humans, Abbie and Jon. Abbie and I already knew one another from previously working at the same organisation, and it was great to catch up with her and meet Jon, whereupon I heard all about their wedding plans.
As you’ve read this, Abbie and Jon will already be married, having tied the knot abroad in Bora Bora, a spectacular island situated in French Polynesia, out in the South Pacific. Sadly I wasn’t invited to photograph that (!) as they enjoyed a very intimate ceremony of just the two of them, intending to return to England and hold a blessing in Chelmsford in front of family and friends. So although the initial plan was just the private ceremony in Bora Bora, that’s now technically two weddings, right Abbie? Why the hell not I say!
